The aim of the First Cycle Degree Programme in Dietetics is to produce professionals able to perform specific activities related to nutrition and dietetics in preventative and clinical contexts, collective catering and research. The programme offers theoretical and practical course modules in the basic and clinical disciplines, internships in the specific professional sector (MED/49) in a clinical environment (nutritional activities for groups of patients, hospitalised patients, outpatients, specialist activities for pathologies, activities related to hygiene, food regulations and hospital canteens, body composition evaluation), a community environment (maternity-infancy service, artificial feeding at home, etc.) or in catering environments such as school canteens, nursing homes, etc. Mandatory internships are an important element of the programme catalogue, as they enable students to better understand specific techniques and prepare for the world of work, acting with responsibility and autonomy, in a context that is very different from the lecture hall. The agreements in place with various health authorities, SIAN, and collective catering organisations make it possible to guarantee internships that are as close as possible to the real world of work.

This programme is available in Italian.
